Perennial wildflower native to Michigan and the UP. Plant reaches 2-3 feet tall and flowers from April to June with a red/yellow blossom.  It's unique flower shape and natural red color are attractive to pollinators and hummingbirds.

 

It adapts from full sun to full shade, medium to dry soil and will grow in muck, clay, loam or sand. Columbine will grow in shallow and rocky soils and is great for rock gardens or cracks in glacial rocks.

 

Single plants will come in plastic pots (Approx. 4” x 4 .5”) Plants will vary in size between 2 and 10 inches.
