(Picea glauca) Medium to large reaching 80 feet. Shade-tolerant but prefers sun. Clay, sand and loam soils with moisture conditions from moist to dry, best in well-drained sandy loams. Drought resistant. Straight stemmed, narrow crowned. Native.
