Allium giganteum looks just like its name sounds— massive 4 - 6 inch diameter, spherical umbels are made up of hundreds of small, violet-purple florets. The flower heads rest atop thick, sturdy 36 - 48 inch tall stems, ideal for adding vertical interest to a back border or creating a colourful focal point. Butterflies and bees love them, but pesky deer and rabbits stay away. Drought tolerant, too!
