(Abies balsamea) Popular Christmas tree with growth occurring in whorls of branches surrounding an upright terminal making a symmetrical tree with a broad base and narrow top. Small to medium sized reaching 55-65 feet. Relatively short-lived growing on soils from silt loams to stony loams. Will also grow on gravelly sands and in peat bogs but comparatively slowly. Native.

It is unlawful for trees, shrubs and other plants purchased to be resold with the roots attached (per PA 189 of 1931, as amended). The District is not liable for any direct, indirect, special incidental or consequential damages (included but not limited to economic losses and lost profits) incurred or claimed by the customer.
